Teddy’s Girl Group
The group MEOVV, the first girl group revealed by The Black Label, led by Teddy, is considered BLACKPINK’s sister group, with Teddy overseeing the group’s production. Teddy participated in writing the lyrics rather than composing them, leading fans to speculate that this is to differentiate them from BLACKPINK.

Choreographer Bailey Sok
Photos of Bailey Sok with MEOVV members during their trainee days have led to speculation that he might be a member, but it seems he only contributed to the choreography. The dot dance move mimics a cat washing its face in sync with the lyrics “MEOVV”.

Japanese member Tanaka Anna was a role model for Seventeen magazine. Ga-won was a YG trainee and a 175cm tall model. Ella Gross, famous as a child model, was often called “Little Jennie” and has a close relationship with the BLACKPINK members, receiving support from Rosé and Jisoo when she debuted.

Narin sparked rumors of wealth after appearing in her elementary school graduation photo wearing a Pharrell Williams x Chanel collaboration ensemble. Pre-release photos also show her wearing luxury brands.
MEOVV has created a fan account called “Churrrrr” where they interact with fans. It is currently in beta testing and all features are free.
Support from Jeon Somi
Senior artist Jeon Somi, who is also under The Black Label, has been incredibly supportive of the MEOVV members, even helping them select thumbnails for their individual trailers. After their debut, she continued to show her support by sharing photos with MEOVV keychains and posters on her social media.

Ga-won, Su-in and Anna were born in 2005, Narin in 2007 and the youngest, Ella, in 2008. It is therefore a young group, with most of its members born in 2005.

For their auditions, Su-in sang Oops Little Mix’s Ga-won performed Teenage Fantasy by Jorja Smith, Anna sang BLACKPINK Girls sick of loveNarin chose Billie Eilish I don’t want to be you anymoreand she sang the Radiohead song Creeping.
