October was great for many K-pop girl groups, as various artists trended with their music releases, activities, social media updates, and more. To rank their popularity, the Korea Business Research Institute released brand reputation rankings for girl groups.
The organization collected data from September 13 to October 13. The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as consumer participation and artists’ overall engagement with fans.
Here are the 10 hottest K-pop girl groups in October 2024!
1. THE SERAPHINS
LE SSERAFIM took first place after receiving a brand reputation index of 4,887,479.

At no. 2, aespa secured the spot with a brand index of 4,840,235.
The quartet also gained attention for their comeback with “Whiplash.”
3. IVE
IVE placed third after seeing a brand reputation index of 4,685,474.
4. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK secured fourth place after garnering an index of 3,894,967.
5. FIFTY FIFTY
FIFTY FIFTY rounds out the top five with a brand index of 3,502,869.
6. TWICE
Third-generation powerhouse TWICE claimed sixth place with an index of 3,314,216.
October 20 is the ninth anniversary of TWICE, which made headlines in the K-pop community.
7. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE follows with an index of 2,612,584.
8. Red velvet
Red Velvet came in at number 8 with an index of 2,563,405.
9. Generation of girls
Girls’ Generation took ninth place after receiving a brand reputation rating of 2,531,105.
10. LIGHTNESS
MAMAMOO came in at number 10 with an index of 2,289,630.
